Lovely relaxed atmosphere and many gf options. My coeliac son loved the Pad Thai.

We enjoyed fantastic meals at Northcliffe for both lunch and dinner during off-peak times, and we found that the menu and kitchen can definitely cater to Celiac needs. After speaking with the staff, we felt very comfortable dining here, and they treated us exceptionally well! For gluten-free options, we highly recommend the Thai beef salad and the Thai lamb curry—they were both excellent (check out the photo and menu we shared). The dessert was delightful too: we tried the orange cranberry and almond cake, which was amazing. Although the desserts are not made on-site, we learned that they come in individual packages, and the staff kindly added fresh whipped cream instead of ice cream for us. We had dined here numerous times before our diagnosis, and we were thrilled to know we could still enjoy our meals here. We haven't found another surf club that can accommodate our needs as well. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and is quite nice overall. However, I'm disappointed to see that some of the gluten-free options that were previously available—like the stir fry, pad thai, and calamari—are no longer on the menu. They were all delicious, so it's a letdown that I can't enjoy them anymore.

The dessert was delightful—an orange cranberry and almond cake. We were informed that desserts are made fresh to order and come in their own individual packaging. They even added fresh whipped cream for us instead of ice cream. Having eaten a lot of gluten-containing foods prior to our diagnosis, we were thrilled to have found a place where we could enjoy a meal. We haven't discovered another surf club that offers such great options for us yet. The staff was absolutely wonderful. Thank you, Northcliffe!
