Estaminet A l'Ancienne Gare

Great little bar and loads of restaurant space too. You can get bottles of beer from La Bracine here, probably the best beer in French

Visited this estaminet for the first time in ten years this weekend and was astonished to find it almost empty on a Saturday lunch. Very friendly welcome, a very short menu and nothing very original but the food was good and copious. The decor is pleasant and relaxing.I'm not sure it's very good but it's better than average

We were in this restaurant for lunch on a sunny saturday. The interior is really authentic and gives warm to this place. You feel like this estaminet has a soul. Menu is daily changed and includes many many beers. The waiter was kind enough to advise beers and wonderful dishes. To have a good digest, you can play one of the various board games or enjoy one genever ;). Just perfect place in middle of nature for family who want to relax.

We were visiting the North of France with friends and they had been to this bar before and recommended it.Delightful and quirky decor, friendly service and great selection of Belgium beers.We had lunch which was fantastic, try the Carbonade Flamande, the best we've ever had.
