The Cyder House Inn Godalming

The food was outstanding, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was beautiful.

The menu is very diverse and creative, and the fresh cake is definitely worth the wait! The croque monsieur is also delicious!

The menu offered a great variety to suit most tastes, and I enjoyed the cider as well. However, it was a bit disappointing that they were out of smoked salmon and the fish cakes on the day we visited. Thankfully, everything else we tried was quite good, and the triple-cooked chips were excellent. For dessert, we had a delicious treacle tart and crème brûlée, which were a nice ending to our meal. Overall, it was a good experience. We appreciated the manager’s decision to waive the cost of the fish cakes, which was very fair of them. The staff was attentive and incredibly helpful, adding to our enjoyment. The outdoor garden is beautiful, set against the picturesque hills of Surrey.

Good choice in the menu. well presented. the personal is very attentive as we found at previous visits. good value for money. a bit of a problem with the parking at the arrival, but unlike that a very pleasant experience. will be back in a few weeks.

Very attentive service and good food and wine. A little cold in restaurant- but it was one of the coldest days of the tear.. Would definitely go again.
