The Pizza Joint - Gloversville

The food used to be consistently delicious at this restaurant just a year ago. However, there has been a noticeable decline in both service and food quality recently. On multiple occasions in the past few months, when we have tried to place orders on Sundays and Mondays, we either received no answer after multiple attempts or were told that they were not accepting orders. Our usual order of pizza and wings should not be difficult for a pizza shop to fulfill. However, the wings we received on our most recent order were bland and appeared to be deep-fried. The mild wings were disappointing, as was the homemade foil container that leaked grease. The pizza resembled cardboard with minimal sauce and cheese, and the dough was overcooked. We have spent a lot of money at this restaurant over the years and it is disheartening to see the decline in quality. We have remained loyal customers, but if the trend continues, we may have to look for another option. This pizza is on another level. It took me 5 years to find the best pizza in upstate New York, and this one is superb. The sauce is perfect, made with real cheese, and the crust is crispy. The service is great, perfect for a takeout lunch. The prices are reasonable, ranging from $1 to $10 per person. I highly recommend trying their chicken wings and supreme pizza. The atmosphere is also top-notch, earning a solid 5 out of 5. Plenty of parking is available, with free street parking options.

We had the most amazing pizza at this restaurant! The crust was perfectly crispy and delicious. I highly recommend giving it a try for yourself. The service was great and we got a takeout meal for dinner. The price per person was affordable, between $1-10. Overall, we rated the food, service, and atmosphere a 5 out of 5.

In my opinion, they make the best pizza in town. I’ve spent a lot of time In Brooklyn, NY , where the NY style pizza was born, and theirs is the closest to it. Excellent toppings, and generous too. They also make an excellent Italian combo sub. The large is like 2 medium subs together. They don’t skimp on the meat. Excellent ! ! Other than the food, the inside of the restaurant is very small. It’s best for takeout or delivery. A+, I recommend to family and friends.
