Mcdonald's Restaurants - Gloucester

After i had endured a strictly enforced nil by mouth 24 hours (medical), I had a desperate need for something swift and enjoyable to eat. McD was just right, and although simple was just right -including the coffee. Good cheap food, clean bright premises. helpful staff.

Great hangout to spend some quality time with friends with. Always a good laugh whilst eating some chicken nuggets and chips. Their food is nice and so are their drinks. Would come again

I went in here twice in 2 days, both times were painful experiences. The first time, I couldn't get the self-service machines to work, I tried multiple of them and eventually gave up. The second time, I did manage to get one that worked, but I just didn't feel like the restaurant was actually hygeinic; it was cramped with people, the floor was really dirty, and the touchscreens were just a greasy smudgy mess. I opted against eating in because it felt like a bit of a hellhole.

My daughter needed the toilet while waiting for our food to be called out. One member of staff, Val, went above and beyond to make sure my daughter didn't have an accident. She collected our food for us and held a table so that my daughter was able to have her food after the toilet. She was polite and fantastic, incredibly understand. Even in the the peak times of lunch time she took her time to help. She is one of the best McDonald's staff in Gloucester that I have come across. Thank you Val.
