Palki Cuisine Of India - Gloucester

Must try Buffet!. Took a chance with my lady and tried the buffet. We were greeted by the hostess and seated in a very large eating room. The food was very good and represents excellent value. The atmosphere is very relaxing with Indian music piping as we sat down to eat. <br/ <br/ A welcome addition to the East end. As an ex-Montrealer I appreciate that the food scene is maturing in Ottawa.<br/ <br/ Desert note: The green coconut squares were a hit with my lady.

Best food, best service,and best Indian cuisine in Ottawa.. On 31 Dec'2014, We went to the Palki Cuisine of India .We were 6 friends together. There was a big party going on in the restaurant. The restaurant was full and we had to wait at the entrance . We got the table near the window.They were serving special buffet for the New year's eve. The price was 20.15. For us it was very reasonable because before we went ,we call couple of restaurants, everybody was asking 30 -35 .we had Lamb,beef,chicken vegetable,tandoori,rice, daal, sweets and what not! We loved the food, atmosphere and the service as well.The serve a glass of wine also within that price. We are looking forward for another one.Rick,Ottawa.

Very good food and outstanding service.. I loved every single dish ordered except for the raita which was too salty. Everything else was exquisite.Restaurant decor is quite charming and the music very relaxing. Bathrooms are very clean. Very good atmosphere. The only problem was that the portions were very small for the price. The three of us left a bit hungry still. This is a new restaurant so I will certainly return as it has great potential. I was told that they also offer a buffet which will certainly bring me back.

Spot forever. Hi guys went there and ordered for chettinad and pepper naan , not keeping my expectations high but the thing which made me share a review was the same authentic south indian taste and appealing pepper naan loved it and visiting there for sure......

My wish has come true! I have been searching for a good Indian restaurant since I moved to Ottawa, and I finally found Palki. This beautiful restaurant serves excellent food and provides top-notch service. I can't wait to visit again.
