Bidrage med feedbackWe used to eat at Penny's Diner about once a week. One of the few places in Glenwood to get good food and have good service. But ever since they switched to forcing guests to order through the QR code and not provide menus, we have not been back. And until it goes back to the old way, we will not return.
I almost always have the cinnamon roll because they are awesome. I had eaten today already but my husband hadn't. He had the cheese burger and fries. It was done perfectly. He hates when they are dry. Great 50's 60's music. A/c Friendly helpful workers. Kept us refilled. We'll be back as usual.
A friend and I stopped for a late supper and were happy to see breakfast is served 24 hours. There was one person on staff who was answering phones, checking in hotel guests and greeting customers along with cooking. Surprisingly, although it got a little busy for 8pm, he did great! He kept a positive attitude, was super friendly, was all smiles, and was professional to everyone who came in. The food was good, but the service was even better. Kudos to him!
Haven't eaten there yet but reminds me of Mickey's diner in St.Paul. love these classic diners.
Great place all around except for forcing or trying to force the customer to use the qor code reader thing that you have to scan with your smartphone and order. That sucks. I'm not 14 to 45 years old. Wheelchair accessibility: Good
