Boomers on the Beach - Glenelg

Coming from both Sydney and Melbourne this is by far the worst experience I've ever had at a cafe.

As tourists to Adelaide we made the obligatory trip down to Glenelg beach on the tram to get the souvenir photos and felt like coffee and cake for morning tea. Boomers Café looked like a good prospect with a picturesque outlook towards the beach and jetty. It had a pleasant ambience with its retro décor including laminex tables. The service was cheerful and welcoming, the prices reasonable, the carrot cake exceptional and the coffee just right. A good choice all round.

We had Breakfast here twice, the first morning Full English and what a breakfast it was!!! perfectly cooked nice and hot also enough to feed two people on one plate. morning 2 Eggs Benedict absolutely wonderful just enough and nice and hot, also lovely coffee.. highly recommended we will be back

Look, I have to be honest and say we didn't actually eat here but the lady behind the counter was so friendly and helpful the place deserves a good review! I bought four pairs of the locally made earrings and had a lovely chat with her. Great location close to the beach and the kids playground.

Just drop in during the day, grab some food and either sit at a table, down on the nearby grass or head on to the beach. Eat in or takeaway, the casual ambience is nice.
