Bidrage med feedbackWe went with friends on a Saturday night and the place was packed. They are so popular they have two sittings (6 & 8pm). We were are the 6pm sitting. Your taste buds start watering as you smell the kitchen flavors as you walk down the street to the entrance. We ordered some dips to start with (big mistake), while they were delicious we were half full when our meals of fish and Souvlaki came out. They were huge and delicious. The service was prompt and the atmosphere is great it's like a big family dinner. There were plenty of people taking home leftover in polystyrene packs. This is our 1st time at Kefi's but wont be our last. Well done guys/gals.
Loooooooove this restaurant! Meals are MASSIVE and delicious. Meat is amazing, chips (potatoes) are to die for and the outa, tzaziki and salad that comes with most meals is lovely too. Highly recommend the zucchini balls and my favourite the cream kaitifi for desert. Never had better! This is a small restaurant with two sittings 6 and 8pm. It does get quite cramped and noisy but you'll never be disappointed with the quality or quantity of food!!!
Went there for the first time on a Sunday night, What a surprise we ordered the prawn skewers and the $ 85 meat tray for 4. Hell I can eat this was just fantastic, food cooked to perfection, the on trays oh my god unexplainable fab words I can not put on paper. The next time we go we will order the same not for 2 but for 4 plenty. The service was as good as the food I am now going down once a month. You must book.
Despite not being on a eating strip, Kefi is extremely popular with locals as the fresh fish and meat platters are large and tasty. It is however crowded, very noisy, service is basic, and it can be difficult to get into without a booking. You can purchase wine or BYO, however beware corkage is $15.00 per bottle, and strictly applied even to small bottles of 275ml.
Oh, wow!It took a while till we got the table to sit at as we rocked up without a booking. But the food was worth waiting for. The portions were huge!We had zucchini balls - yummo! And lamb souvlaki - yummo, too. The lamb was great, a bit too salty for me though. My friend also had chips and greek bread and they were great, too.Definitely worth the visit and the experience!P.S. It's a bit hard to find at nighttime, we went past it the first time.
