Golden Spur - Glendora

We went on February 15th, a late Valentine's Day dinner. I had filled the filet mignon with the cheese mix. super delicious. I would recommend this court to everyone, and I personally will have it again and again. my honey had the lamb frame. all I'm gonna say is omg, beyond the good. the lamb was so delicate and juicy, but well cook and not pink (what I hate pink meat) so that is likely what I order next time. joe, the owner, came a few times to our table to review and socialize us. there really gave us this personal note, made me feel special. That's the next time. next time there will be several. I'm urging a place where I come back, and the golden track is a place where I always return.

Stopped in Saturday night after not dining there for over six months and was so disappointed its doubtful that I will return. Service was very slow with absolutely no follow up attention. The staff lacked organization and were terribly inefficient. Food was ok, not good enough to overcome the lack of good service. Arrived about 6 pm and it was not crowded and never got crowded. Probably should be a clue for a restaurant on a saturday evening! Shortly after 8 pm a live band fired up in the adjacent bar and it was impossible to talk in the dining room. Given the lack of good service, chaotic wait staff scene, and seeming emphasis on bar patrons vs diners I would not recommended this restaurant to friends for a nice dinner experience.

We had a birthday dinner for my 79 yr old mother it was a perfect fit. My family and I had not been there in a long time and wanted to go back and see how it was doing. Still stuck in the 70 80's really needs an up date for the time and it would be a great restaurant.

Had a table for 15 and everyone enjoyed the food and the entertainment.

Nothing special, but a great, comfortable place. eat well. service well. price reasonable. visit them often enough and they will know them with names.
