The Anchorage - Glendale

My wife and I have eaten here many times and it has been great every time we come. As foodies we really enjoy the tasting menu. Its always unique and has great variety. Enjoying the wine tasting with the food tasting has also been very enjoyable for us both.

The food isn't great, but at least the service is slow. I understand that hotel restaurants tend to be pricier for what you receive compared to independent establishments.

This was one of the most delicious meals I've had at a restaurant in years. I understand that it's challenging to find staff these days, and the server was putting in a tremendous effort.

This was my first visit to the restaurant since before my wedding. The head chef back then prepared our reception meal, as we held our reception at the Hilton Milwaukee Rivercenter. I'm not sure if the same kitchen staff is still here, but our appetizers and dinner were excellent. My wife and I will definitely return. Our waitress was very polite and even allowed me to customize my meal to something similar to what was on the menu. I highly recommend The Anchorage!

I visited the restaurant for fish fry on Friday night and found it to be bustling with activity, which is usually a good indication. The staff was impressive; they informed us there would be a 45-60 minute wait, and they were accurate. They worked diligently to ensure that everyone in the packed venue was served efficiently. I had the cod plate and really enjoyed it. I look forward to returning for an afternoon drink soon.
