Sakana Sushi Grill - Glendale

The decor is a bit strange, but the sushi is fantastic and delicious. We especially loved the garlic parmesan edamame and a few of the sushi dishes we tried. The cucumber-wrapped sushi was also very refreshing.

I hadn't been to this restaurant in 5 years, but I was pleased to see that it is still a reliable option for sushi. The only downside was that we waited for our sushi for a long time, and started to worry that the server had forgotten to put in our order. It turned out that the server did forget, but they offered to comp our dessert as a gesture of apology. I felt that considering the wait, one of our rolls should have been comped. However, aside from that small mistake, everything else was excellent. I have yet to try a roll that I didn't enjoy. Their menu has a wide variety of options to choose from.

The staff at this restaurant is incredible, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is cool. I highly recommend it.

The best sushi- and I’ve tried about every sushi place in the valley. Family always meets up here for dinner, and has for about the past decade or so, and it’s never disappointed. Very generous servings for the price. Thick slices of sashimi for only $15! Highly recommend.

Sakana is absolutely incredible! We love this place and we love sitting up at the bar. The food is always so fresh and we love seeing Juan and Eddy making their sushi creations. We went last evening and it was packed, so you know it’s a great place. Every time we go I always order the garlic parmesan cheese edamame, OMG they are the best. If you visit Sakana, this is a must try, I promise you’ll love it!! I highly rate Sakana and if you’re looking for a sushi restaurant this is an absolute must!! Tell them that Tina said HELLO when you go!
