First Watch - Glendale

I love going to First Watch for breakfast, and today my server Emerald encouraged me to try their seasonal items instead of my usual order. I ended up trying the Barbacoa Breakfast Tacos and they were full of flavor, paired perfectly with delicious black beans. I also tried the Watermelon Wake-Up drink after starting with my usual Kale Tonic, and it was incredibly refreshing with just the right amount of sweetness. I can't wait to come back and I hope to have Emerald as my server again, as her attention to detail and friendly personality is the perfect way to start the day!

I love the "Million Dollar Bacon" - it's amazing! We had the 1/2 sandwich and salad and were very pleased. This location always makes me happy!

First time coming here, had the pineapple express drink with the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. It was pretty darn delicious. The waitress was super sweet too.

This was my first time eating First Watch in many years and I can honestly say that i knew there was a reason why I liked this place. It was busy, as is usual on a Sunday morning, but it was worth the wait. My server Jennifer was amazing and went out of her way to make sure me and my mom got the best food possible. If I'm ever in the area again I'll be sure to come back!

I'm torn. I love the food. The tomato soup is yummy. The salad dressing is light on greens. The veggie burger is my favorite. However, regardless of the location, I order to go with a 20 minute wait, fine. I show up 40 minutes later, then still have to wait another 20 minutes. And they have never once gotten my modifications correct. So I have to search through all the food, tell them what is missing or incorrect. Then wait another 15 minutes for the corrections. This makes me think twice about ordering from here. And I purposefully order during less busy times. So sad because I love the food.
