Bidrage med feedbackGreat food , good service , ambiance is ok not terrible but ok
I ordered Kare-Kare and was advised that it was enough for two people. When I got home, I was completely disappointed by what I received. The dish was mostly bones with very little meat and a lot of fat. There was no oxtail as advertised, and overall it was unappetizing. I would have been better off going to a Filipino fast food restaurant. The price was too high for the low quality of food they provided. I will not be returning to this restaurant and I do not recommend it to others.
The food was tasty and the service was outstanding.
We were shocked at the prices. But what was even more shocking was to be served in disposable tableware. Everything was in styrofoam or aluminum. There wasn't even an attempt to make it feel like you were dining in a pricey restaurant and almost like you were eating of off a food truck. Their food is still decent but my goodness they need to up their game if they want to stay open. Unfortunately for us this will be our last time here. Very expensive to end up eating on cheap styrofoam plates.
Just got home from this place! Never again! My family used to like this place back when they were still at their previous location. We came at 8 pm tonight and there was a very large party came/sat almost the same time as us. One person from that group right away stood up and went to kuya/owner started telling him their orders. Meanwhile, an old lady came to our table to hand us our utensils, my sister said Ate ready na po kami umorder the old lady replied Sandali! Yung malaking ano.... (And she didn 't even finished her sentence as she continued to walk away while passing the utensils around) I guess she was referring to the big group they must attend to first since there 's a lot of food to prep for them they probably only have 1 cook! With the very slow service for not having staff/servers, I would suggest NOT to accept a very large party (more than 15) otherwise, it has to be a private dining. We ended up eating an hour after sitting down. Food wise: The only food i liked from here now is the miki bihon. Sisig was way spicy and has more veggies than the meat itself. Bistek was too sour. Chicharon bulaklak was ok (didn 't finished it). Crispy pata was pretty good crunchy at least. Camaron rebusado was ok (we thought the shrimp was bigger before), inihaw na pusit (idk maybe my fault for not looking, but i had the impression that it was the grilled bbq big kind of squid but no! It looks like that adobong pusit with a grill/smoky flavor, tender at least) they have to think of a strategy that if they cannot verbally apologize to the customers for having them wait for so long for the food, at least give some kind of free dessert maybe? My fiance wanted to try the halo halo, but i told her we 'll just get from a different place because who knows, that 's gonna be another 15-30 minutes of wait!
