Bidrage med feedbackI love her brot and the rolls imported from Germany. I live in palm desert and every time I visit my daughter in the burbank, I buy broth and rolls for several weeks. are you going to the palm desert?
Great selection of sausages and cold cuts. Must try their smoked pork chops outstanding and great for grilling.
Definitely my new favorite lunch spot. Try the cheddarwurst
Anything with a spicy sausage for a sandwich is great the bread that comes with it is too die for !
If you've ever eaten at the Red Lion, I don't need to tell you how good Continental's meats are. After wanting to check this place out for many years, I finally made it in the other day to stock up on sausages for a New Years party. I bought Thuringer Bratwurst, Nuremburg bratwurst, Kase Krainer, weiners, and debrezinger. All were excellent but we unanimously liked the Kase Krainer, a cheese filled one, the best unsurprisingly . I also picked up a raspberry lambic type beer which everyone enjoyed. The lady at the counter was extremely helpful and gave me very clear instructions on how to heat up the fully cooked sausages vs. the frozen ones. She also gave me a couple magnets for my fridge. My only suggestion would be for them to start carrying brat rolls and a few varieties of sauerkraut. Otherwise, this would be your one stop shop for a German themed dinner party. I had to stop at a Ralphs to pick up a pack of rolls and jar of Claussen kraut but the rolls weren't authentic and the kraut was obviously not as good as that of the Red Lion. Edit: they apparently do carry sauerkraut but did not have any in stock the day I was there.
