Bidrage med feedbackThe health food center is a neat small market with insulates of preserved and packaged vegetarian and vegan meat substitute, broth and seasoned, coolware and a few cookbooks. I bought soy-colle, vegan parmesan cheese, spicy season and a vegan cookbook. in any case it is worth checking out from them in glendale.
It's a very sweet business. visit them when they live near. my grandfather was raised on the 7th day adventist, and the meat replacements are very recognizable to me from childhood. mostly preserved textured vegetable protein (white glue). the selection is small and concentrates on vegetarian food (vegans read the labels). here you will not find trendy or new products. they will not find health food. you will find adventist style vegetarian meat substitute, seasoned mock ups, some colas and regular bagged chips. if they are looking for a traditional adventist meat substitute, this shoppe is really funny. no vegetables or products. the largest part of the shop is Christian books, stationary and calendar.
Here you will find some unique items that are readily available elsewhere. come here for faux meat and canned. I like to use her dried soy protein from the pouring into a pot.
Everything in the load is vegetarian/vegan! most of these things they can't find anywhere. I've been here for 10 years, and I haven't been upset about everything religious. they are extremely helpful and friendly to ask to answer food items.
I go to the store pretty often to get camping supplies (they have a variety of fake meats in cans) and pick up some food for home. The store has frozen section with burger/nuggets/crabs/etc. imitations, canned food, vegan sour cream, vegenaise, breads, snacks, supplements, and much more. Not everything is vegan, so read the ingredients. If you buy in bulk, use their sale periods.
