Common Good Cocktail House - Glen Ellyn

I have been a loyal patron of this restaurant since 2020, and it never fails to impress! Even after visiting the top craft cocktail bars in the city, I have not found a place quite like this. They serve delicious craft cocktails made from scratch, paired with warm and welcoming service. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to make great recommendations. The menu is consistently unique and offers something for everyone. During the summer, you can enjoy the charming patio garden, and in the colder months, the inside is cozy and inviting. Be sure to show your appreciation by tipping generously, as the hardworking staff prepares every drink from scratch.

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and is located in a charming little building on the outskirts of downtown Glen Ellyn. I do not recommend ordering the Chai Tai, as the server accidentally poured flaming rum on my hand when lighting it inside a charred lime-half balanced on the glass rim. Despite the mishap, the server did give me ice to help with the burn, for which I am grateful. Despite this incident, my wife insisted on tipping 20% as a gesture of kindness towards the staff.

The cocktails are fantastic and the service is top-notch. This is the perfect spot to hang out with friends. Expect to spend between $20 and $30 per person. Service and atmosphere both receive a 5-star rating.
