I found Jig's Kitchen while visiting the St Kilda Library. It's a cozy café located right next to the library and across from St Kilda Town Hall. There was blues music playing when I walked in, and the staff greeted me warmly. Instead of getting takeaway, I decided to dine in. The atmosphere was inviting, and the food, which consisted of pies, toasties, and other comforting dishes, was delicious. I will definitely be coming back to this place.

Absolutely love going to Jigs Kitchen! All the home made food is sooooo yummy its always a dilemma to select. The owners are so friendly and fun to chat with or just hang around reading the paper and listing to a bit of soul music in the back ground. I start work very early sometimes so it is great to have a place to stop before 6am and grab a coffee or lunch for later.... I highly recommend giving this jive eatery a go!

Sick of dried up below average,tasteless pies with gristly meat ? Jigs pies are absolutely the best pies you can buy. Beautiful, quality fillings and wonderful flaky pastry. Just like your grandma used to make :) We tried the chicken and leek and beef burgundy. We rated them 10/10. Great lunch. Awesome friendly service. Thank you.

With a great variety of comfort food, including some good vegetarian options, I really enjoyed my lunch here. It did feel like being at mum's kitchen table. We had a baked bean and cheese jaffle and a spinach cannelloni, both were delicious. Families with children were equally at home here. The food was well priced and the food delicious. You can dine in or take away.
