Banque - Glen Eira

Not sure that my perception of this place matches some of the other reviews but it's of no consequence now. Banque has been closed for some months now. With much competition in the area this café clearly did not work in this location.

This is a great spot to enjoy a coffee with good company. The service is top-notch, especially for those who don't speak English as their first language, like myself. It's a wonderful representation of the diverse and vibrant culture found in Melbourne.

My favourite morning coffee and occasional food stop. If you want to indulge in Melbourne's glorious multicultural atmosphere , this is a good choice! This morning I was greeted with French music and two staff members who both had lovely accents. I had the smashed avo with a coffee. The coffee came with a freshly baked bite size brownie and the coffee hit the spot.The food was generous and presented with love. Yum!

Dined here for brunch and the food and service was outstanding along with the great coffee and crepes so get down here Melbourne people and frequent this great venue

Definitely the spot for a romantic date with the wife. We went with our kids and our in-laws. We all LOVED IT.A combination of Caribbean and European cuisine. It was pretty affordable too actually.I am looking forward to another trip there...
