Bidrage med feedbackThe food at this restaurant was absolutely delicious! We tried the Enchiladas, Burritos, and Nachos, all of which were divine. We enjoyed it so much that we came back the next night. The Caprioskas were also amazing, made with fresh ingredients.
I have to say, I was quite disappointed to find out that there wasn't anything on the Amigos menu that didn't have coriander in it. I...
The food was mediocre. The service was adequate. The restaurant was very cold. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. I would suggest making Mexican food at home if you want something better.
First time visit to Acland street, St Kilda, and we were looking for a bite to eat for lunch. Amigos caught our eye, and it didn’t fail to disappoint. Our group of three had burritos and a grilled chicken salad. All were tasty, and were brought out fairly quickly. The only complaint I would have with Amigos is the price of the drinks, which are on the expensive side. The drinks make an otherwise reasonably priced meal an expensive one.
We arrive before the place had even opened. The guy let us in and still served us even through they weren't technically open for another 20 minutes. We were all enthralled with the guys lovely Mexican accent. I had the nachos which reminded me of when I was in Puerto Vallarta. I found the food to be true authentic Mexican not some slapped up local version. I know there are a lot of bad reviews about this place but it could be worth revisiting if you haven't been for some time. That said, we were the only ones there so I have no idea what it is like when it is busy.
