The Bay Cafe - Glen Eden

Absolutely love this place. Come from te atatu as nothing beats it tried everything on the menu, everything is AMAZING..GREAT staff and service..took my nephew and he made the hot chocolate warm so it wouldn't burn him..thanks guys

The Best Cafe in Blockhouse Bay!!! And I'm the favourite customer. Lol

In Blockhouse Bay on business and feeling the need for a snack, and I found The Bay Café. And what a find! Great coffee and the best cheese scone I’ve ever had. I like my scones with lashings of butter but I didn’t even open the butter for this one. The cheese scone stood on its own.<br/ <br/ So it was back there for lunch and again the next day. I can recommend the rosti and the BLT – they happily replaced the bacon with sliced chicken for me and it was delicious.

Came here for a Sunday brunch and was not disappointed! The ambience was nice with inside and outside dining, the staff were friendly and the food is incredible value for money. I ordered a medium flat white which tasted great, along with the chicken quesadilla and a side of bacon. Only minor thing I would say that could have made the meal better was if the chicken was seasoned a little more as I feel it lacked a little flavour, but other than that I enjoyed my meal and will definitely be back again. Thanks!
