Bidrage med feedbackThis little bakery sits at the NPS Glen Echo Park site. It features drinks, sandwiches, and, of course, baked goods. I went with a pumpkin cookie and a lemon drop cookie both amazing. Cost was $3 per cookie, so not the cheapest, but the quality was good and the location was magic. I was there at around 3, so there was not a lot of choices, but, again those cookies were really good.
Cold food. Wouldn’t warm it. Coffee half full. One and done on this place.
Didn't actually buy anything but once when I was chilling at the park I decided to go in to check it out and maybe buy some pastries. At the front desk there was this grumpy looking dude that just stared at me. I felt super awkward and left.
This is a cute little cafe/bakery in the park that is located near the playground and picnic area. We popped in a little later in the day, so selection was limited. We ended up getting some brownies to top off our earlier picnic lunch, and they were pretty tasty though we were told they had not been baked same day. It's nice that they have the option available in Glen Echo.
Visited the Glen Echo Park Praline bakery shop on a weekend. The pistachio chocolate croissant was great! Came back on a weekday during February and their sign is posted as open Sat. 10-4 and Sun. 10-3.
