Very different, but very good. Would eat here as often as possible but it shut down in December.

We were the only patrons, yet the owner was slow and flustered. The menu and ordering system had to be explained three or more times and was very confusing. We gave up on their specials and ordering system and ordered basic meals. The wait for food was extraordinary and unacceptable. The diabetic is our party was forced to eat fruit bars during the long wait. All six meals were mediocre. One dish of meat contained literal scraps; bones, fat and old gristle. Disgusting and horrible experience.

After just over a week in NFLD, I ate my last meal of the vacation at Taste of Jamaica and it was by far the best. The food was amazing, the staff was great, and helpful. The codfish fritters were one of the best appetizers I have ever ate. We ordered multiple entrees and they were all very delicious. The Ice Cream and festival was a perfect end to the meal. Prices were great too. 100% I would recommend this to anyone heading to Corner Brook!
