Bidrage med feedbackThis restaurant is now closed, but it was a great spot for Saturday morning brunch, especially if you were planning on visiting Glebe markets afterward. I always enjoyed the breakfast, with the berry french toast being a standout. The staff were usually very friendly and helpful, and the iced chai latte was delicious. The prices were decent for the quality of food, making it a great spot for a casual morning hangout. I can't speak to the quality of the lunch menu, but I would definitely recommend it for breakfast.
While visiting our son at the university, we stumbled upon this restaurant on a street full of dining options. It turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The three of us all enjoyed our meals and found the atmosphere to be friendly. The owner mentioned that she had immigrated from Siberia, which explained the Eastern European influence in the food. The prices were surprisingly affordable, particularly for Sydney. It's a great option if you're in the area, but don't expect anything too fancy.
I LOVE this place. Especialy the great value food so I always bring friends here HOWEVER...that man who is owns it is so so rude. I was so embarrasses when he spoke rudely to my friends for no reason...actually kind of grunted. His wife is actually so so lovely! Weird. I cant take people back there till he behaves better. Let me know when he does as I niss the vegie burgers (best in Glebe).
We came here on a deal but still expected to eat decent food. The starters were average. Avo and smoked salmon salad was covered in mayo with tiny pieces of avo but was palatable. Seafood hot pot had crab sticks in it! And limited other seafood. Steak was cooked as I asked but was poor quality and so ended up tough. It was supposed to come with pumpkin salad which it didn't and chips were not beer battered. Overall disappointing.
Was there for Lunch last Saturday. Great people, excellent food. Wish fireplace was operational for a more cozy feeling...
