Bidrage med feedbackI went to this place to see Israel Israel Nash in concert as part of the Celtic Connections, and did not go for a meal. The hall is pretty much like many other church halls with a balcony which wasn't in use and a stage at one end. The were 2 small but very adequate bars selling a limited variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Unknown to us it was a standing event. The reason I am writing this review is because the staff were so helpful. One of our party has a disability which would have made it impossible for her to stand throughout the event. Both the stewards and Amy, the lady in charge, were so helpful to us, supplying my sister with a comfortable seat in a reserved area ensuring that she had a good view of the stage at all times. Fantastic customer service! And the music was brilliant too!!
Attended Texas concert. Great service from the booking/requesting assistance to the friendly staff who made access easy and reserved fantastic seats for us.
Great surroundings but food isn’t good. Carries on the current fad of putting rubs and sauces on everything. Jalapeño cheese bites were decent but came with what they called a homemade tomato sauce that overwhelmingly tasted of tomato purée and honey. I mean honey? Ribs were poor dry and obviously overcooked. And had to be chipotle slaw. Couldn’t just be coleslaw. Everything tastes of artificial smoke. Brisket tacos brisket had some smoked rub doused on it and were as hard as beef jerky. Bizarre. Nachos were unfathomable. They’re meant to be corn tortillas fried. This seemed like pitta bread fried. Very strange. And no cheese to be seen, anywhere. All in all disappointing.
This place is great! Friendly staff, nice drinks and great food. The menu is very extensive and it is hard to choose between all the delicious sounding options. Would recommend
First time visit for a surprise date night organised by my partner..we arrive early and thought we'd have a drink first, it was busy as there was a gig on in St lukes but the guy on reception showed us to the bar and said he'd come and get us if he could seat us any earlier. We sat and had a couple of drinks the barman was very friendly and informative about the history of the building etc, the decor is comfortable meets shabby chic/ American/ rock vibe which is fun and interesting to look at . True to his word the server seated us early , nothing too much trouble and the food was fast fresh and excellent...and very reasonably priced too, can't wait to go back in April...a unique place with cool vive that suits all
