Tgi Fridays Glasgow Silverburn

I haven’t eaten in a TGI’s in about 10 years. Why is no one questioning the price of the food in this place? £20 for chicken strips and a very small side of fries? Very very average food. £20!! I’m so shocked. £4 for draft coke which was rank! I’m actually mad at myself for not leaving after I saw the prices on this menu. I’m far from a cheap skate and I enjoy going out for food so I thought it must be something special if it’s this expensive when some of the best restaurants in Glasgow would charge under £15 for this type of meal. Fries were pretty cold and small portion, chicken strips fine, but nothing spectacular, coke was terrible. Never again! What a rip off. Our waitress was lovely! Kids meals were fine and reasonably priced. But would never eat in tgi’s again.

I turned up without a booking and was given a table straight away. I did notice that there were lots of empty tables that had not been cleared throughout the restaurant with food and plates still on them. I also saw food on the floor. Service was really slow and when my food arrived it was lukewarm, I think it had been sitting out waiting to be served before it arrived. For the amount of food served and its presentation I would say it’s massively over priced. With other food outlets in the centre, I think I’ll go elsewhere in the future.

Great Service, waitress Rebecca was great very friendly and helpful. Deffos would come back to TGI’s again, never had a bad experience

Me and my friend came in for a catch up and some lunch. Our server Josh was great, he offered some suggestions from the menu (the messy cheeseburger is great) and made sure we were enjoying our meal.

Staff were pleasant but we waited ages for the food to arrive and when it did it was burnt. Also very expensive for what you get. Will not return.
