Redmonds - Glasgow City

Brilliant bar!! Great music and beer choice is spot on! We didn’t eat, but the food looks amazing! Staff brilliant!! Proper little gem of a place!!

Redmonds was a wonderful find! They have a vast selection of records which they played and accepted requests if they had the vinyls. We had some of the ribs for lunch which were incredible! The cocktails were lovely and the staff were really friendly! We will definitely be back

Really nice bar in Dennistoun, at the pricier end of the range for the area but one of the nicest places so pretty fair. The beer selection is amazing, with a fridge for carry out. Food delicious too, sort of asian inspired different but in a good way! Really love the Bao Buns! We were in on a Friday and put near the DJ booth, normally totally fine but it was sooo loud just a bit much for late afternoon/evening. Maybe speakers throughout the bar, rather than just from the front would help? Staff were super friendly and I'm sure would have asked the DJs to turn it down a little, but didn't really want to be awkward I think they probably could have guessed though, we couldn't hear the waitress properly!

This restaurant is a fantastic choice for delicious food and a variety of beer options, all accompanied by a fantastic soundtrack. Situated at the city end of Duke Street, it's perfect for grabbing a bite before heading to the Barras market or simply enjoying a tasty meal. They serve excellent bao buns and other dishes, and offer a wide selection of beers, all while playing great music from classic vinyl records.

The restaurant offers a wide variety of craft beers, which is unique compared to many other pubs. I highly recommend trying the porter. However, I found that the staff lacks teamwork. Waiting for a drink at the table felt like waiting to see if you had missed the last bus to Auchtermuchty.
