Bidrage med feedbackI have attempted to dine at Nando's Silverbrand several times since the end of the last lockdown in April 2021, but have been unable to get a table due to a minimum 15-minute wait. Today, despite there being at least 7 or 8 empty tables, I still had to wait. I am perplexed by the fact that this Nando's location has been consistently busy since last April, yet there are numerous empty seats available.
Okay, let's start with the fact that I felt like I was in a comedy movie at this restaurant. I'll skip the part where we had to scan a QR code to book a table because of COVID-19 restrictions. It felt impersonal and put pressure on the kitchen. We were greeted and shown to our table, which was fine, but the comedy started here. The hostess forgot to tell us that we needed to scan a QR code to access the menu. After waiting for 10 minutes and not knowing the new restaurant policy, we asked a server how to order. The waitress politely told us to scan the code on the table to access the menu and place our order. She asked about allergies, and my wife mentioned she was allergic to seafood. The waitress then informed us that we couldn't order through the app and needed to speak to a manager. Even though the restaurant had 7 staff on the floor and 2 at the hostess stand, with the manager nowhere to be found, we decided to try ordering through the app. However, we couldn't place our order due to the allergies listed. Eventually, the manager arrived, took our order, and assured us that there were no traces of seafood in the dishes. Despite requesting spicy chips, they arrived plain, and the sauce on the wings was dry or non-existent. As someone who works in the hospitality industry, I understand that mistakes happen, especially during long shifts. However, the lack of attention to detail was disappointing.
Directly to a seat and eating came within 10 minutes. the waitress was very helpful. would recommend at any time.
Greeted by a young looking man with funny logo on his teen shirt that made me smile. he was pleasant as any other employee during our visit. the tables are all quite close to each other, but in the middle of a busy shopping center. not enough to be overheard by others. eat really good quality, well presented and delicious. also super. must collect your own cutlery and spicy, but two appetizers, two nets with two sides and two juices can refill them, as necessary £33 nandos we return!
My kids love visiting Nando’s but for me it’s gone downhill. Service isn’t great and my Butterfly chicken was extremely dry. For my the Nando’s branch at the Quay is better.
