OUTSTANDING! Been coming to this pub regularly for a few years now. The staff are all friendly and chatty, the place is immaculately clean, drink prices are reasonable and the food is out of this world! Highly recommend!

Was in pub today for lunch, and yet again it was first class,we were served by the barmaid Mina, nothing is to much Trouble for her bringing our drinks to the table and making sure everything was perfect

A very nice old pub which was busy in the afternoon and this speaks for itself. The steak pie and proper home made chips was lovely and piping hot and the lasagne was,delicious and not too much.

Went as location close to subway station. in town visiting friends and had lunch after a visit to the riverside museum. Staff were very friendly and helpful to recommend a local whisky as we were visiting from the states. the mac and cheese was nice and haddock fish and chips huge pieces.
