Indian Brasserie - Glasgow

We had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. From the moment we walked in until we left, we were treated like royalty. The two gentlemen who served us (I apologize for not getting their names) were exceptional and a credit to the establishment. The chefs were also impressive, as they were very busy with both dine-in and takeout orders. We started with chicken pakora and followed with rogan josh and tikka masala, both of which were delicious and generously portioned. I requested ice with my wine and they consistently refilled it without me having to ask. We will definitely be returning to dine here and highly recommend it. I cannot comprehend how anyone could have anything negative to say about this place.

The food was served warm, which was a pleasant change from other takeout experiences where the food arrived cold. The prawn starter was of exceptional quality and I thoroughly enjoyed the minced lamb dish and chicken jaipuri that followed. The garlic on the naan bread was also delicious. I will definitely be ordering from this restaurant again.

If you're in Glasgow and craving delicious subcontinent cuisine, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. The food and service are top-notch.

On a flying visit to the city, our taxi driver recommended it, and since it was just across the road, why not? We are spoiled in our home town with really good Indian eateries, so always feel wary when away from home. We need not have worried. The food was first class, with juicey tender meat, beautifully balanced in flavour with spices, the portions were generous (glad I didn't go for a starter, I'd never have finished it all! , the rice was cooked just right, our peshwari naan was just sweet enough and not too doughey, the sauce was piquant with a sour hint which married perfectly with everything else. It is so rewarding when a recommendation from a complete stranger pays off. Definitely going back. They also have a sister restaurant in charing cross! Bravo ;
