The Bubble Tea Shop

Went here for the SKZ event this past weekend. Really greatful that they hosted the event; Everyone seemed to have a lot of fun and it's nice to see local vendors As for the actual drink and waffle, they weren't my favourite. You get a lot of waffle, which is great for the price, but the actual flavour was underwhelming in comparison to other bubble waffles I've had. The drink was tasty (though I'm not sure if it's an item on the permanent menu or was specially designed for this event).Service is great though

Quick bubble tea stop. The bubble tea was good. Couldn't decide on a few flavours so i was glad they don't charge extra for the duo cup! I like the location its like a one stop shop, superstore and hk bbq house close by. Definitely recommended!!Parking: Plenty of parking around the area

This is an interesting spot. On one hand I thought the BBT was good and I’d like to come back and try other flavours. But unlike some others, I don’t like the location. If I’m not shopping at Superstore I’m probably not trekking through this area of town and dealing with this parking lot. The store is also a mess with signage and pictures everywhere as well as merch in cubbies. It doesn’t mean the place wasn’t clean, just a lot going on. I do appreciate they offer a $0.25 discount for bringing your own cup!

When we ordered the savoury egg waffle and the roasted milk tea with aloe vera, the server misheard us several times as we customized both the drink and the waffle. We spoke clearly and it seemed that she did not listen.The roasted milk tea was not roasted; it tasted like green milk tea or diluted original milk tea. Also, the egg waffle was broken in the bag upon receipt and this showed the inferior quality. It was not consisted of eggs. It was not yellow and it tasted like flour. We also could not taste the customized savoury ingredients because they were minimal in the waffle. It was not an egg waffle at all.We went back to the server and asked her if she gave us the wrong drink because it did not taste like roasted milk tea. She said it was made with half oolong tea and half assam tea. Then she offered to make us another drink so we told her we wanted original milk tea without pearls with less ice and no sugar. However, she gave us the milk tea with pearls and with a lot of ice with a smile. Then, she and the other co-worker went to hide in the back kitchen immediately. That was not nice. We left the drink on the counter and we left.P.S. The splinter from the wooden fork hurt my sister's finger as she used the fork. They obviously do not care about customers.
