Colette's Family Restaurant - Glace Bay

We have this place for a meal in house style while in the opposite attempts. steak and eggs were good. scallops and pommes were ordered. fries were not cooked well, but was offered more. It's good to do it right. I would recommend this clean facility.

The food was great! The staff was very friendly and helpful! The wait for the food was about 15 min. Will come again!

We visited because we were driving around that area and I had read the reviews. The place was constantly busy with inside dining and a drivethru. Servers were friendly and helpful. We ordered the East Coast Scoff and it had a bit of everything. They...have the best waffle fries and deep fried pickles. I was looking forward to the deep fried ice cream but we just had too large a meal.

We went to collettes in glace bay for our 44th year. we heard it was very good. I ordered the 10 ounces. T-Steak dinner. first the steak was about a quarter inches thick, it was gray, tasteless and tough the carrots were. so gay that the fork has not stabbed her. my steak was covered with swirling so I couldn't see it. the wobbles were soggy. I was very disappointed. mu hubby had 3 pieces fish and chips. the first small piece of fish was boiled in order, the other were only half cooked and soggy batter. the only good thing about the meal was that the house made pommes. the prices were also more than what was shown on the website. of course we will not be back. the jubileee is ruined. This looked like a beautiful restaurant and it is certainly popular. I ordered the surfing and the razing where the razing is a 10 oz T bone stabak. the surfing was a piece of fish that was good, the pommes were good, but the steak was. a freeze-burned piece of meat. it was hard and dried. my wife had a pfeifenhund that was in order, but her Turkish suppe had no turkey at all. a very disappointing eating in what looks like a nice local restaurant. I told the waitress about the steak, but nobody came to talk to us about it. bad eating our trip.
