Bidrage med feedbackThis restaurant is located in one of the most iconic sites of the Old City of Girona, the stairs of ‘la Pujada de Sant Domènec’. The restaurant itself is an old one, and they keep one food proposition, ‘the pizzes de pagès’, from decades now. Instead of the pizza, they are based on a big slice of ‘pa de pagès’ bread. They offer a lot of different tastes. The one based on ‘perol and ratafia’ is very good. The restaurant is very lively, as it allows inexpensive food experiences. The desserts were very good. The ‘gelat de farigola’ was excellent.
Incredibly rude waitress would not let us sit were we wanted to even though the restaurant was empty chucked a menu at us resulting in us getting up and walking out always looked forwards to going here but will never go back
Fabulous food. Beautiful setting (omg see photos). Friendly staff. Family friendly prices. Bring your Google Translate for the menu or grab one of the younger staff some, but not all, speak enough English to assist. The house specialty is a Pizze de Pages which is essentially an open faced type of sandwich. The base is a large piece of French bread (but not), covered by the toppings of choice (they have about 15 different Pizze de Page), covered completely by cheese which is then broiled. I can 't eat cheese so I had a totally different entree which was also delicious. Afterwards we wondered through the dark medieval streets which was fantastic.
Menú casero a buen precio. Ambiente con encanto y solera. Buen servicio.
