Pond Cafe - GIRDWOOD

OK nothing special. Had breakfast two mornings the omelette was fine, the breakfast burrito was very doughy. Coffee was OK. Next time, I'll just walk down to the Bake Shop for breakfast.

It’s so nice to have a decent breakfast place in the resort. We had breakfast every morning at here and we enjoyed it. The price is good, the food portion is good. I also love the service here, very sweet and friendly. The dinner menu is nice too, I highly recommend the Americano Pizza, so yummy! If you stay in the resort, the Pond Cafe is nice place for both breakfast and dinner.

The service was great and in my opinion the items on this menu are the best at the entire resort. With the current outdoor seating you can enjoy the beautiful view with your meal. The special monthly entree which was lamb with blueberry sauce was an absolute masterpiece with tender savory game paired with the tart sauce. I had to enjoy everything blueberry while it is blueberry season, after all.

The smoked salmon Benedict was incredible. Can't beat the ambiance either. The king crab Benedict not as good. My wive enjoyed the buffet.

We came for breakfast and all of the staff were very kind and attentive. The Hunter's omelet was delicious, we had green onion added. It was a great place to start our day. We had a lovely view and watched as night turned to dawn.
