Europa Restaurant & Deli - Gimli

DON'T GO to Europa!!! Our visit to Europa last week ended with the cook (owner?) yelling, swearing, and threatening bodily harm to my partner.... all for my partner suggesting that the staff tell customers how long the wait for food will be. We have gone before and enjoyed the food and large portions, but needless to say we will never return. We got our food, expressed frustration in a calm but annoyed tone for having to wait a long time for food (take out only) without any notice from staff, then were leaving when we were called back to the counter.... to get YELLED AT by the owner. He threatened to kick my partner in the face if he didn't get out of the restaurant, yelling in his face with no mask on (we're still in a pandemic....) The kicker was that we were already on our way out. To top it off, our food was terrible. My veg pita was soggy and flavourless with no sauce or seasoning. Our fries were soggy, seemed to have been sitting for a while, and my partner's bacon mozza burger was also mediocre. Do not support this bully. I'm guessing this isn't the first time he has yelled, sworn at and threatened someone, and it likely won't be the last.

Omg, we had luck, it was a quiet afternoon, so don't wait. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger, the woman ordered chicken fingers and we shared an order of french. first, when they go here in any case share the order of the pommes, they are huge, hot and tasty. the burger was also good. the chicken fingers were also a very large order. the staff was friendly, eating was hot, and the portions were very generous. will definitely be back.

Crazy busy, but eating was worth waiting. H-U-G-E portion. some of their dishes could feed a whole family. be ready for a wait when gimli is busy with tourist, but the food they receive is made fresh, especially for their order. while waiting for their order, they sit on the outside terrace or a walk along the main road in gimli!

One of my usual decisions if I want to eat somewhere in gimli. the best bang for your ass in the city. huge portions. enough to share with two to three hungry people easily. I avoid ordering the pommes more from this ground, although, although they are nice, I am always wasting them after a few days of eating. there is just too much for a person to eat. the owner is very friendly and exceptional friendly to me when I had the opportunity to talk to him about the years. I have found a woman, may sometimes be quite hard and rude, sometimes even screaming at customers, but I think it's just the stress to work in a very, very busy restaurant. I don't take it personally. this place is packed in the regular. if they are able to dinate, they can wait a while until a table opens. I usually take my lunch to go so I can enjoy it all along the picturesque shores of the lake winnipeg. Whether it's a,- off or by phone, they expect to wait from 20 minutes on a slow day to an hour on a busy day. when you see how many people come here, you will understand why. that eat is worth waiting, otherwise the people would not come back in the way they do. my favorite is the kalbburger, but I try to try something new on their big menu every time I visit. I also have a large bottle of his homemade spiced oil that I use for salads with some edgy.

- aazing! the eating is delicious, the portions are crazy (on good wise, they have remnants) personal was friendly. eating was fast, hot and well cooked. good price. in any case, stop a place if they want a good meal and the water is not too far if they want to make a nice walk to work out some of these meals immediately.
