Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Gilroy

It’s like the employees can’t be bothered to do their job. Also, I am confused about what they define as “butterfly shrimp.” They used to split them in half before cooking, now what they call Butterfly Shrimp, is just regular shrimp.I have seen this location advertise things they don’t have. Look, if the promotion is over, take down the signs and flags. I’m not sure if the bait-and-switch tactics are intentional, or if they are just lazy.If you ask for something that isn’t conveniently within their reach, they will refuse to do their job and go look for it in the cooler.Me: “Can I get tater sauce?”Him: (looks in cabinet, it’s not there.)Other employee: “It might be in the walk-in (cooler).”Him: “Nah, I don’t think we have any.”Me: “How about in the walk-in?”Him: “Nah, I don’t think we have any.”He couldn’t even check. And it wasn’t busy.I hardly ever write reviews, and I like Popeyes food, but this Gilroy location should be avoided, which is hard for me to say because I do enjoy the food at other locations. Some of the items here were colder than I would have liked, but it was okay.You will see the other reviews complaining about the service. These issues should be addressed by management. This kind of behavior starts from the top. I used to work in a fast food restaurant, and it’s hard, I get it, but my manager cared about customer service, and he made sure we all did too l. He made sure we were doing our job and we had happy customers. If someone wasn’t doing their job, they were let go. There are too many nice people looking for jobs to hold onto bad employees. The culture at this Popeyes needs to change. I doubt I’ll be back.

I never ate here because I used to hear alot of negative feedback from friends, and DAMN IT > <I WAS MISSING OUT ON SOME GOOD FOOD! The wings where a bit gamey, but the chicken Swiss n bacon thing was fire! And the Cajun fries with the Mardi Gras sauce was like Hella bomb! The second time around my order was a little bit off and they kinda threw it all in the bag half a$s, made my neices fries mix with my nephews chicken nuggets ,,,, and at 6 yrs and 10 years that's kinda a major issue lol ? ah to be a kid again. .. anyhow, I COULD PROBABLY EAT THERE ONCE EVERY COUPLE MONTHS. NOT BAD, THE FIRST TIME :

Went to the drive through this guy rushing me to order. Like bro give me a second. Got a 4 piece regular, with fries. The fries dry af. The chicken imagine this a 4 piece and he gave me two wings, one spine and half a thigh. All in all, just quit bro. Look for something else. You don't have to work here. You can work in walmart and make the same money. U just ruined my day.

Chicken was delicious. First time trying their spicy chicken... Be ready for it... As it is a slow roll and boil... Creeps up on you and then you find yourself struggling to cool it down.
