Longhouse Restaurant - Gilroy

The food was absolutely horrible, I feel so bad for our waitress because it wasn't her fault but none of us ate our food (5 people's food went to waste).

We went in for an early dinner (4;00) Three of us and my sis in law ordered pork chops and they weren't tasteful or crispy on the outside as in the past,

The best is back in Gilroy, CaThe Longhouse Resturant is finally open from 8am-9pm every day and the wait has been long but it's been worth it.

My first time there and I really liked it. Our waitress (I think her name was Mary or Maria--it was now a few weeks, and I just can't remember, so I apologize (so I would have even been Donna, who, I know, does not correlate in any way to Mary, but this is the case at some point with trying to remember names! was very wonderful. My uncle accidentally ordered the wrong article (he hates mushrooms, but inadvertently ordered a court LOADED with them, and our waitress took it very kindly back and got it the right record - no fee (and the mistake was! He 'd wanted to order, say the classic, but ordered the contemporary instead (not the actual names, of course, but he's just wrong reading the menu. On the other hand, I fought between a few salads and either the fish sandwich or the fish and chip plate. But I settled with the Steak salad and WOW. It was HUGE! And good. The steak was cooked in a creamy sauce that gave it a GREAT flavor (which also mixed well with the rest of the salad and made it so delicate. There were avocado, eggs and, gosh, some other ingredients I can't remember right now, but it was good! The atmosphere at Longhouse is original, turnkey and cozy. The service was excellent. The food was great. All in all, it was a great visit and I hope to try out some of their other offers again.
