La Barca - Gilly

The food at this restaurant is truly delicious. The owner may not be very friendly, but the staff is charming and attentive. We did not have to wait long for our food and nothing was missing from our table. It seems that this restaurant has a lot of regular customers, but we were still treated well. One thing that really impressed us was when a hungry man came to the door and the owner kindly brought him a pizza. This goes to show that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, as this seemingly stern owner turned out to be a kindhearted person.

Upon arrival, we received poor reception with no smiles and were seated at a table by the entrance. The food was of good quality, but we had to ask for cheese to accompany our pasta, which is unusual for an Italian restaurant. We also had to ask for our drinks during the meal. Our table was quickly cleared before we even finished eating, and we were not asked how our meal was. When we requested a digestif, we were promptly given the bill without any complimentary house drink. Although we were not Italian and unfamiliar with the restaurant, the staff seemed more pleasant with other customers. This experience was disappointing and unwelcoming, and we do not plan to return.

Impeccable greeting in a cozy atmosphere. The meats and pizzas were delicious, and we were never disappointed. Highly recommended.

It's been several years since I attended this restaurant, the value for money is excellent, pizza is delicious. Of course it is not the big class but it is a simple and efficient kitchen. Recommended for a nice little meal.

The kitchen is really delicious. The boss, overflowed, is not very smiling, he's true. but the staff is charming and intentional. No waiting too long or lack of a table. we see that this place is froging from accustomed customers, but we have, however, received the push of coffee. an anecdote that really conquered us: a hungry man came to the door and the boss wanted to bring him a pizza! like what, you don't have to count on appearances and this gentleman, without smile, is finally a good person!
