I absolutely adore this place! It's charming and cozy! Without a doubt, it's the best Japanese food I've ever tasted! You can really tell that they take pride in their dishes. The staff is always friendly and approachable.

We got takeout while stopping over in Gig Harbor. The servings were generous for the price — a big heap of edamame and yakisoba noodles, a crunch roll you’ll have to unhinge your jaw to fit your mouth around. The above were delicious as well. Also the woman on the phone cared to check-in and make sure we didn’t order too much for the two of us. Great spot. Vegetarian options: We got the veggie yakisoba and edamame. Both delicious.

Took 40 minutes to put together an order for four meals to go

We did not have a great experience here last night. We came in on a Monday, and we were the only two people in the restaurant but still waited nearly an hour for food that just wasn't that good. Part of the reason we waited so long were due to online orders as people were coming to pick up orders, but people inside the actual restaurant shouldn't have to wait nearly an hour for something as basic as chicken and rice. The lady who helped us was very sweet, and I would prefer to give a better review, but I just can't consider our experience. There are good reviews, so maybe it was just an off night, but I wouldn't go back. Oh, but the salad was good ?
