Gateway To India Restaurant

Overall a delightful place. The food is tasty and the service is prompt.

We went in with 7 people and the service and food was good. The furniture needs some work. Benches need to be reupholstered. Overall a good meal at a reasonable price.

Service was very slow. Appetizers came out after our entree. Food was good, however the meal itself was over 2 hours long and we were late to our movie.

What a lovely experience. A very nice variety of dishes on the buffet, plus you can order off the menu if you wish, fantastic service and a charming atmosphere. Enjoy!

Everything about Gateway to India was great. What's not great, is when you make a Valentines Day reservation on Open Table and the restaurant tells you when you show up that they don't use Open Table any longer, but Open Table still takes reservations?! Now my nice dinner with my wife gets a sit and wait date until they have an opening. The employees handled it great, not a long wait, but frustrated at Open Table. Do not book THIS restaurant through Open Table. I guess the lesson is, which is not the point of the app. Call after making the reservation and double check? Again, the restaurant handled it great, just remove them from Open Table.
