Brix 25 - Gig Harbor

The food is good.. pretty noisy atmosphere. Good view .Not sure it was worth the 150 we spent for 2 of us. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

First time trying this place wity my wife, but the experience wasn 't good. Complimentary sparkling wine was a nice touch, but I 'm allergic to it so I couldn 't drink it. I ordered the beer cheese soup but I didn 't receive a spoon until 12 minutes after the soup was delivered to me and by that time it was lukewarm and not appetizing, so I didn 't get to enjoy it. The oysters on the half shell were pretty good, though. Both my wife and I ordered the King salmon and it took quite a while to get to us. I had wanted to order a glass of wine while waiting but our waitress never came to check in on us. I was already a 1/4 of the way through my entree by the time she asked us if we needed anything else and by that time, I knew I 'd be done with my meal before any wine would be delivered to me, so both my wife and I declined. The poor experience didn 't make the salmon really enjoyable. To make matters worse, my wife became nauseous and ill on the way home and vomited once we got back to our house. The health inspection notice on the door gave the restaurant an okay rating, which means the restaurant has had several unsafe food handling practices over the last 4 visits by a health inspector. The food is overpriced for what you get, the service is absolutely terrible and my wife got sick. We will not be back and if you 're reading this, know that you risk a foodborne illness if you eat here. There are plenty of other good places to eat in Gig Harbor.

Excellent place for date night with the wife. The staff are very nice and courteous. We had an amazing meal. A must go to place in Gig Harbor.
