Bidrage med feedbackFound bugs in the hotel room, location is bit isolated, struggled to get a taxi- perhaps was due to the event ongoing at Wolfsburg. Reception staff was very helpful though
Jan 2023. Visiting from UK regretfully got delayed due to a ferry breakdown so did not arrive on the 1st night we booked. We did however email them from Hull to let them know this but they still made us pay for the room (dissapointing) when we arrived. We slept well, no noises from road or other guests. the hotel was clean with a large car park. Breakfast was a bit of a scrum 1st morning cos nobody told us how the system works. We would stay again as good value.
When you enter the room a smell of strong Parfums Hits you Hard making the question what are they trying to cover ? Staff kindly except that idiotic german waitress in restaurant, she clearly MAD having some mental issues, girl you cant behave with guests like they are less worth than you!!!! Keep ur sht together! Food in the morning stinks! I swear I allmost trew up when cracked that boiled egg, but I was hungry and oppened second but same outcome!!! At evening Buffet one night all meat was gone just after half hour of serving, leaving only macaroni and potatoes as Option to eat, and second night there was no table to sit and eat despite the fact we came first (tables reservated) and 30+ tables they dont use for Buffet....I mean Manager of that place clearly should be doing Something Else and you all should avoid that place for atleast a year
The rooms are comfortable, clean and perfectly adequate. Staff are friendly. The restaurant is ok if you like German food, but the choice is very limited. However, The bar and restaurant do not open until 1800... The hotel is literally in the middle of nowhere, so if you need to get supplies from a supermarket, forget it if you don't have a car.
I have been here twice. The first time no problems, not great but reasonable. The second time I had problems with very large bugs in the room. There was no alternative room as it was fully booked, but it was going to be thoroughly cleaned the next day. I killed 6 big bugs and found the room was quite dusty. It was going to be cleaned the next day so I accepted the situation. The second day still no good cleaning and I killed 7 big ones, the receptionist was going to take care of it personally, but then decided not to. The third day it was REALLY going to be cleaned, but unfortunately still no real cleaning. Many bugs again, and after three days the carpets were still dusty with debris of previous guests under the bed. Three opportunities to correct a mistake should be sufficient, if not you just don't care. Be kind to yourself and don't book here.
