Kimphat Sushi - Gießen

Bad service was at least for me, perhaps, as I speak neither German nor one of the Chinese languages) especially when you come between 12-15 - everything you eat buffet for 20euros! (They also have other offers for less but too long to mention) And they come on small boats that swim in a river around the bar! the restaurant itself looks beautiful and clean. It was really nice to sit there Nevertheless, customer service is much under average, made me bad that order. For this price and this quality definitely worth a visit!

I and my friend came to the restaurant at 7:00. There were many people eating sushi buffet. We wanted to try Vietnamese food. So I ordered Vietnamese Beef Noodle soup. The court was good. It's not original taste, but good enough. It seemed to be no staff. We had to wait a long time.

We had a nice experience with waiting staff here; they were friendly and accommodating. We ate at the sushi bar. However, the sushi cook in the middle could use a small adjustment. Usually these chefs are happy to look around with the clientele. I had a lot of experience with Sushi, Japanese culture and its extraordinary talent to create one of the world's favorite cuisines. I must be honest, but about 95% of what is served on sushi boats would never be served in Japan. One reason is sushi (and sashimi) is really all about fresh, raw seafood. By far, a lot of Kimphat's food is fritted and that's not sushi. That's tuna too. However, I suspect that the restaurant is trying to address a local diet, and these non-sushi articles seem to appeal to Gießener. The night we ate was an all-you-can-eat buffet idea. I noticed that the real sushi was timed accordingly and it would meet the sushi boats to make his trip around the carousel. What I was amazed was the real and more expensive items such as smoked aal, tuna, salmon, etc. were never quickly recorded. In other parts of the world, they wouldn't take half a round before someone who knows Sushi would catch it. This was fascinating, so we have our wealth of what was offered. The warm Sake was wonderful (I recommend this, but not drive home) and I really enjoyed the friendly staff and the atmosphere. Would I come back? Yes, because next time I would order certain items as prices are reasonable and certainly one, two or three more...

It is not original flavor but good enough. However, there seemed to be lack of staff. We had to spend long time waiting.

Wir hatten eine tolle Auswahl an Sushi. Es gibt nicht nur die üblichen Makis, sondern auch immer wieder neue Sachen zum testen. Das Sushi wird frisch zubereitet und man kann dabei sogar zusehen. Frischer geht es kaum. Es empfiehlt sich allerdings einen Platz zu reservieren.
