Brasserie zum Gambrinus - Gießen

This place used to be very good last year. Unfortunately the last couple of times I've been there, the food wasn't very fresh and the cocktails they have are very much diluted. Even cold chololate drink has mostly ice in it and the taste of chocolate is barely detectable. Very much disappointed.

This cafe/bar has one of the best burgers in Giessen in my opinion. Burgers come either with french fries or with potato wedges; depending on customers' choices. Moreover, the place has a big terrace where during the football championships, a large screen is put to show the games.

Had a few beers here. Nice respectable restraurant / bar. Service good and friendly. I didnt order any food, but i would say food is good as there was a good few people eating there. Overall ideal for a quiet drink and food.

Pity, really bad. the most dry veggi) burger I ever had. burger and pommes were unfortunately cold. only about km
