Great chopped beef BBQ that they cook out back. Very friendly owner. Clean restaurant. Been in business for years. Will stop there again.

Everything tasted like it was left overs and had been reheated. I eat leftovers all the time, at home. I don’t think they should be served in a restaurant. We had brisket, ribs and sausage for our meat selections. It was all tasteless. The coleslaw was soured. We could not eat it. The Mac-n-cheese was noodles in canned nacho cheese sauce and the beans was canned ranch style beans with sugar added. What a waste of $35.

When traveling from Houston, I cannot go to my Dad's house in Round Rock unless I bring barbecue from Lost Pines! I'm convinced he may not let me in. :

Hope you like spicy coating on your brisket. The meat is good but the coating was a bit too spicy for us. Then I'm not sure what spice was in the macaroni salad. Maybe tarragon. They should have left that out of the recipe. The people are great but the food was not for us.
