Bernie's - Giddings

Delicious food and wonderful people. Every time I pass through Giddings, I have to stop here. They take great pride in their food, and it really shows.

I wish I could give the bartender 6 stars for their amazing service. Everything I had was delicious! I tried the chicken quesadilla, and even the small size was huge—almost like a personal pizza! The steak fries were perfect, crispy on the outside and soft inside, with just the right amount of salt and pepper. Their homemade ranch dressing was also fantastic—perfectly creamy and flavorful, far from the typical Hidden Valley stuff. Even the sweet tea was impressive; you could really taste the tea leaves, and it wasn’t overly sweet. I highly recommend this place, especially if you're staying at the Best Western and can walk over!

What a fantastic spot! The beer was cold and delicious, but the German food truly stands out! Make sure to try the German pizza or the sausage with sauerkraut.
