La Bamba - Giardini-naxos

Awesome place, absolutely not touristic and very-very authentic! There was a lot of local families and young people! I took a big triple hamburger, fried mix and a sweet crepe with icecream. What I can say? All was delicious! Only one negative thing: the place is not big, so it was pretty tricky to find a vacant table, but the stuff was very gentle and organized for us one extra table on terrace.

Love this spot...hope to return after vaccination and hope they will reopen, the swordfish is excellent and the chef is the best!!!

Myself and a friend arrived in Giardini Naxos at 12am on a Tuesday morning, after a late flight from dublin, and then a long drive and finally checking in. La Bamba was recommended by the Lady who owned the apartment we were staying in. We arrived at the bar, and were greeted by a really friendly man who seated us and immediately brought us both a beer. We both ordered a beef toasted sandwich, that turned out to be a fully dressed hamburger that had then been pressed and grilled like a Panini. Absolutely delicious.
