Yamato Bakery Cafe - Ghaziabad

Always the perfect cup of coffee with any of their pastries. We cannot NOT go here after every Mitsuyado SeiMen meal (Pasay and Jupiter Makati branches). Staff is great too!

The fattiest pastry in all of Europe. -NY Times. . If there is one pastry that I just can 't say no to, this would be a Kouign-Amann. It is one of those things that I must order,if available, when I 'm in a bakery or restaurant. I decided to try Yamato 's version and I might say, it might not be the best j have ever tasted but it 's up there. It was fresh from the oven when it got served to me and the thing was oozing with melted butter. The only draw back with it was it lacked a the caramel crust that I 'm always looking for with Kouign-Amanns. In terms of pricing, I felt it was right on and seems justifiable. Their service was pretty good also. Will I come back to this bakery? Yes if I 'm in the area and looking for a pastry to pair with my coffee.

Yamato is one of my favorite cafes when I want to indulge myself in pastry. Their pieces are like works of art, too pretty to eat. I tried the Strawberry shortcake and I waa pleased with how large and fresh the strawberries were and how the sweetness was perfectly balanced. The place itself reminds me of patisseries in Tokyo. Will dine here again.
