The Shop - ghamton

The Shop has been the best all around restaurant in downtown Binghamton for a few years now. Everything about it is spot on: The atmosphere is hipper than anything else in Bing. The service is always fantastic. They have a small but very well curated selection of beer (and the other drinks seem great too). The menu is interesting, and the food is always impeccably executed. In recent years, it's become my department's go-to place for hosting faculty candidates and other visitors to the university, because it really shows off Binghamton at its best. I just wish they were open a few more days a week!

Pricey but good burgers, great atmosphere, great cocktails. Fries were extremely salty and overcooked with nearly no potato left inside.

Modern, clean, and wide assortment of sweet and savory crepes, drinks, coffee. Server was pleasant and food was fast. Easy access from highway and paid street parking in front. Cool place! Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair Accessible.

A very cool place to unwind and relax! Delicious dishes, the best coffee mocha latte, friendliness and nice atmosphere with excellent music ? background!

I have eaten here multiple times and the service has always been subpar. Servers are not attentive and the food takes very long, but I really enjoyed the food when it came out. This last visit, a group of my friends went out to celebrate a birthday and were sat without menus. This was during restaurant week. After 10 minutes the server finally came around. When we tried to ask for the restaurant week menu, we were informed that they were no longer honoring the restaurant week deal. When we inquired about it, the server said they just decided to stop honoring the deal. We asked for the manager and were told the manager said “no” to coming to our table. We asked for the manager again who came to our table of 6 girls very rudely raised his voice at us about how they got slammed and were unable to honor the deal. He then ran away from us without letting us respond. The cost of the menu items and the horrible service is not worth the visit. The atmosphere is also very cramped and overwhelming. Very sad because I enjoyed the food previously.
