Hoss's Steak And Sea House - GETTYSBURG

I met up with some friends from out of town and ordered the fried fish sandwich along with the salad bar. You can't go to Hoss's without enjoying the salad bar!

I had the Philly cheesesteak, and it was just okay. The service was also average, but the waiter was friendly. Overall, it's a decent place to eat.

The steak was nothing to write home about—just average. They don’t serve alcohol, but you’re allowed to bring your own. However, I wouldn’t recommend the wine in the picture unless you enjoy sweet wine that tastes like Welch’s grape juice.

My wife ordered a 38 dollar steak dinner, ordered med well, it was so overcooked she could hardly cut it with her steak knife. It was almost like leather. We complained about it, but nothing was done. We will never go there again. 6/25/24
